Open Doors Embassy of Canada, July 2018

The Chamber, in its close relationship with the Embassy of Canada in Guatemala, participates in different activities that are carried out, in July the Embassy carried out an activity for different interest groups, with the objective of publicizing their work areas, their programs and activities.

Canada Day / Polar Bar

CANCHAM and the Canadian Embassy celebrated Canada Day on July 5, 2018 at Casa Veranda with an event in the polar bar format, attended by more than 70 people from companies, government institutions, institutions that promote commercial development, people from the Embassy and NGOs that work together with other sectors.

Sustainability and Voluntary Principles

The Chamber carries out several activities in conjunction with the Embassy and in May 2018 a training and discussion was held on "Sustainability and Voluntary Principles of Security and Human Rights, with the participation of Fanie V.Thibeault.

Polar Bar – April 5th

One of the main networking activities of the Chamber is the Polar Bar, meetings that are held "after office" where businessmen, diplomats and people from different institutions interact, interacting with topics of interest, making connections with different companies, knowing new ones people and takes the opportunity to talk with people of commercial interest.

Exporting to the Canadian Market

The Canadian Guatemalan Chamber of Commerce (CANCHAM) works to promote commercial and tourism relations between Guatemala and Canada through a robust trade agenda that seeks to increase the level of trade and tourism between both countries.

Agricultural Exporters & Buyers of Canada visited Guatemala

A Commercial Mission of Agricultural Exporters & Buyers of Canada visited Guatemala in the framework of Business Opportunity Day. More than 30 Guatemalan businessmen held meetings with the mission of eleven Canadian entrepreneurs who visited Guatemala on August 30th.
